The Scientific Journey

My path to physics wasn't a straight line. I started with a strong foundation in Mathematics, drawn to its logic and structure. My transition to Physics began when I selected it as my science core, initially viewing it simply as an extension of math. However, my perspective shifted through hands-on experimentation with microcontrollers (Arduino) and an interest in applied mechanics. In university, the sheer breadth of physics was overwhelming. Instead of forcing a specialization, I sought mentorship. During my freshman year, I took the class of my Adviser (Dr. Marvin M. Flores). His perspective on particle physics resonated with me, transforming my academic curiosity into a research career. The more I explore this field, the more questions pop up in my mind. The more I learn, the more unsure I feel about whether I truly understand physics. This uncertainty has pushed me to continuously seek more knowledge

Beyond the Data

While I spend much of my time in code editors and terminals, I believe that observation is just as important outside the lab. Whether I'm analyzing a chess position, reviewing the narrative depth of an anime, or capturing a rainy street scene through my lens, I am always looking for patterns and stories.

Current Focus

Currently, I am working on improving the sensitivity of a non-resonant semi-visible jet production search using machine learning. I am always open to collaboration on projects involving scientific computing and data analysis.
